Where he resides for now... at least until a cooler Sith comes along.

That looks excellent on display!

Quick question just for you: see that little "pink" glow under Sidious on the chair? On mine, it's clearly yellow. I wonder what the difference is or why the difference?

Thats an interesting question... yours is very yellow. I wonder if it has something to do with the placement of the bulb? Mine seems to show a lot of light through the base.

And its not just a function of my camera... its really more pinkish in person.

And thanks King :rock

Mine does spill too... just like yours, only yellow. I have no idea why.

I know man, a whole day after you was killing me :lol

So have you decided what you're gonna do with yours? Keep or send back?

This is an awkward piece. My ownly issue with mine is that the back left leg is loose, so it likes to fall over, but if I turn the foot over to the side it won't fall.

However, there's a different issue, the back feet are made out of some kind of rubbery type plastic and after I came back from work today (I got the package during my lunch break) the feet were already bending under the weight of the hologram, that could be a potential problem in the future.

Got pics?

And what color light did you get? :D

To me it does seem a bit small, but I don't really mind.

Why is it a Mechno-chair anyway? It's not even a chair. Just a holoprojector with legs. I think the mechno-chair was something different.

I'd take pics but I don't have a camera.

I guess it's a variation of the chair the Neimoidian was riding in. But I never did see the point of putting a holoprojector on one.

I think it was for transportation purposes. In Labrynth of Evil there's an assualt on Cato Neimodia and in fleeing their castle Rune and Haako (who strike me as live-ins) forget to bring the Mechno Chair with them. Grevious finds out and he's pissed. The Jedi get it and use the transmissions to chase Grievous and the Separatists across the galaxy.

Probably more than you wanted to know though.

I watched TPM last night and never noticed that Nute's chair and the holo-chair are actually the same thing.

In fact, on the SS piece, there is a folded down "metal" piece on the mechno-chair (serving as the battery cover) that I believe is the backrest to make the chair for Nute. If you have one, imagine that piece folding up... and you have a chair with a backrest.

Now it's really odd to me in the film -- Nute sits ON the holoprojector?
