Sidius/Palpatine 2-pack

I have to chime in here. Palpatine in all his forms (except the holo one, which I passed on) has been at the tip-top of my list since the line began, and this two-pack is just beyond my hopes for the character in 12" scale. I'm so excited to see these particular versions coming together, and I can't wait to own them! I could wish for a grimacing Sidious as well, since I'd like the ROTJ version to be calm (for when he's sitting in his Throne Expansion), but I'm still very excited overall.

I plan to put Palps next to Anakin, and Sidious next to Sith Anakin. Appropriate. Obi-Wan will be on Anakin's other side, caught between his two teachers. Ah, the possibilities....:emperor

And you can say what you like about the prequels, I thought Palpatine's character was handled exceptionally well. Lucas' dialogue sounded like Shakesepare from McDiarmid's mouth. Palpatine came out unscathed from the prequels, and I don't think any OT snob need feel shame at owning these two figures. The simple fact that he killed one of the most stilted characters in the PT is reason to celebrate these figures being made.

Yep, McD was the best part of ROTS to me, he was stellar.
