Awesome work on Spidey!
If you dont mind me asking did you use acrylics or enamels, and air or brush?

Mostly acrylic, but the silver base beneath the blue area was done with Alclad II Aluminum enamel.

Spidey was almost all airbrush except for the black lines on his suit and around his white "eyes". The base had a lot of drybrushing and washes done to it after the base tones were airbrushed.

Since we're in SilentSurfer's Laboratory, is there any plans in the near future of making the legendary (The Undertaker) 1/6 figure?

That's would be a great masterpiece to join the group on the display!

I second that. I'd love to see an excellent Undertaker figure. Boy does he look old in that picture though.

Hey SS I have a question I recently acquired a unmasked Jason for my premium format and was wondering if you were still doing the custom 1/4 mask for them

Yes, I am in progress on that project. At the moment it gets pushed to a back burner a lot, so progress is slow. A few pages back in this thread, and you should find a pic of the new mask I made that will become the master for the masks I'll be making available. I plan to do a version with the ax cut as well, and I'll offer any movie style paint up on them.

He indeed went bald but from my knowledge his hair already grew back. Expect him to wear short but not bald.
There was a fantastic Undertaker in the Umatched Fury line by Jakks Pacific. 7" statues. Overall the best Wrestling 'figure' line they have ever done... Wonder why noone ever went into the highend collectors market. Decent 1/6 scale figures or 1/3 statues would definitly sell. :dunno

totally agree. Id even say at least 60% of the mattell sales come from serious collectors over casual fans and kids, especially with the price of the elite waves! Just think, 25- 30 bucks each for a pretty sub par figure, throw 5 or 6 of those together and tell me it wouldnt be worth a 1/6 amazing representation of someone like the Undertaker by a serious company/ customizer.

As far as Hot Toys go, they don't make any figure after taking permissions, I contacted Enterbay if they're interested to do it!

I can't imagine after all those years and decades of success that no one came up with a great quality 1/6 Undertaker figure! Or at least a 1/6!!

Nathan, I am completely blown away by the awesomeness in this thread as of late. I have had to take some time off of customizing and collectors, hence my absence, but I look forward to commissioning you again in the future. That Spider-man is unreal!

That's awesome! Thanks for a little insight into your work! :thud:

I'd love to have the Undertaker's 1/6 figure!
Man, they keep saying "He went bald" after the rumors about this image:

Wow! The guy in that pic could walk right up and talk to me and I'd never say that was the Undertaker.

Yeah, Jakks did some fine realscan figures at one point. I have a 7" Undertaker and Stone Cold. I'd actually buy a Stone Cold PF.

Thank you. Past customers are still welcome.
