What does this mean and why am I suddenly worrying about the lack of news on Grievous.

It means that SDCC 2011 is probably the only time we'll ever see his proto paint job and next time we see Grievous it will be a factory sample of the production paint work. After years, it seems Sideshow is learning to sell products with paint jobs the factory can do instead of super proto paint jobs beyond the factory capabilities.

In your opinion. I would rather hear it from Nathan.

Edit: Phew! :yess:

Great job on the Padawan... WGP did a great job creating a real-world looking sculpt and you (of course) nailed the paint work on it.

Hey Nathan would you possibly take on a commission to paint a rainman Doc holliday sculpt? ..I hope you don't mind me asking you here, I fear you would be a while getting back to me via pm.

Sorry to the mods if I've broken a rule asking here.:peace

Does the commission rule count if I ever bought something you painted for another member? In my defense I did send you an unanswered PM just before the doors closed on newbs :lol :monkey2

I did too actually LOL. Though I can't say i bought a painted sculpt off another member like galacticboy did I did send an unanswered PM before the gates to heaven closed :lol

That is good to know Nathan, thanks!:) I've never actually commissioned a painter ever, getting heads painted is always put on the back burner with me.

Don't worry, that's about to change. I'm getting pretty well caught up anyway. At this point I'm actually waiting more on the launch of my website, to make taking orders and communicating easier. Routing everything through (free) mail.com isnt optimal.

I too bought something off another boardie and was wondering if i was now on the inner circle of silentsurfer commissions!
