Man, you really nailed the 5 o'clock Shadow on Don...and that vein detail on the temple...

Can't stop staring...

Beautiful.

PS. I'm diggin' the black background the most.

Okay, black it is. I've always liked it better myself, but people sometimes comment specifically about the gray when I use it, so I thought I'd try it for some head shots. I have to be careful with the black though cause the camera tends to make the contrast too high and wash out the subtle colors. Your Draper actually looks much nicer in person than he does in those shots. Black backdrop, black hair, and pale skin made it hard to capture the true skintone well. I had to adjust it back in Photoshop and it's still not as rich.

Great, now everybody will be asking me to blend neck plugs.:slap

Here's another good shot of Don.

Really liking the blended neck plug on Marty. That extra work really shows.
As far as the paint-ups go, both are absolutely gorgeous. I can't get over how real those eyes look.

And the skin tones! :rock

Thanks again.

And a special thanks to Cavlcade for hooking me up with the his copy of the shrunken Indy PF head. Soon, my own Indy will look like this.

Now, back to the paint table. Lots to do.

Nathan, so incredible as always!! I really hope to be lucky enough to have you paint up my Don Draper as well. I have been waiting for far too long to throw all my money in your face! :hi5::wave

Draper, Indy and Marty look so lifelike. I didn't know that Draper was released already, I have to have one of these sculpts!

Nathan you did a fantastic job on Jon Hamm. The skin tone especially on this one looks great. Im still suprised that Sideshow isn't having you paint for them anymore.

Well, they seem to be doing fine without me. But, thanks to three individual Freaks here with connections, I now do paint masters for four different companies.

And now I KNOW Sideshow wasn't paying me what the work was worth. I sometimes get paid more for one statue now than what Sideshow was giving me for three of comparable quality.:cuckoo:
