Here's one I never posted. Anybody remember the Flirty Girl Collectibles World Traveler?

Well, T. G. sculpted that head, and I painted the first protos for it, but they seemed to not have been used. Here's a pic of one of the heads I painted.

Flirty Girl wanted a more actress looking paint up that wasn't quite screen accurate, but then I painted one other for T's own collection that was more screen accurate... you know, to that World Traveler movie. I really like this one.

It's been a little while since I've shown anything in here, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy.

Here's the latest round of Walters and three different styles of his shoes.

Man, I really wish Trevor would come back. Now that I'm into the show, not being able to get those sculpts is really hurting.

I am looking forward to seeing you Magic on Mike and Gus though! :D

I believe that set was actually just released. But I'm guessing you must've done it a long time ago??

I noticed that Chad/Flirty Girl never played up the fact that Trevor sculpted the head. It was certainly obvious from the style. I would've thought people would've jumped all over it simply because "The Man" did Angie. . . but the style just didn't translate.

Ah well, female figure collectors are a fickle bunch. We shall see how folks respond to the Baroness.

Thanks for sharing.

Is Chad Flirty Girl? I thought he was only partnering with them on this like me and Trev.

The head is great for bashing. I think the presentation just falls short with it on such an unimpressive body. The gear and clothing are good, although I would have prefered sculpted boots. In my opinion, at this scale, real leather boots don't come off right, not even when Hot Toys does it.

Magic Mike? Oh, wait, "Magic on Mike..."

^This is Viagra.

Happy I could help. If it's a boy, name it after me.

Wow, you knocked that round out of the park. Great work. :1-1:

Man I love that Angie Raider sculpt with your paint...well, that goes for any T. sculpt with your paint. I was fortunate enough to see that sculpt on a HT body with the SSC outfit and it was definitely the best 1/6 Tomb Raider on the planet, incredible.

I think there's a specific reason Chad tries to keep his involvement with those things at arm's length, much like how we have to say "T.G" now. So, I think that will have to stay at a "wink wink nudge nudge" level.

I wouldn't say 'unimpressive' body. The Triad body is a good choice. I understand that there's a "dedicated" segment of the hobby that doesn't like joints, but it's a popular choice amongst femfig collectors, so I can understand why FGC chooses to use that as its model. But it's just funny, when the set was debuted here, people were like "Ewww, joints", but over at OSW, most of the comments were to refine the sculpt. I haven't been to MWD in a while, but I can imagine most people said "Ewww, sculpted hair"

But, like I said earlier, female figure collectors are a fickle bunch.

And personally, I can't stand sculpted boots, especially on tall boots like that. Restricted articulation in the ankle is the worst. I love articulation, so I don't mind joints. . . which makes me not the intended audience for most figs nowadays. :lol

SwedishHeat, I like your reply. I can agree with everything you said. You're right. It's really all about what you prefer most.

I came from the model kit era before 1/6 toys started getting good, so for me, the fewer joints the better. I also don't like dramatic poses because it makes me want to see more of the scene. I tend to like my figures posed as though they are replicas on display at a museum, pretty much just standing there, holding something, looking somewhere.

Closest to screen accurate for me, even if the pose is less actiony.

Right there sounds like my idea of a great bash for that head.

Thanks!

Wow, that's spot on! Loving it! :clap

Like all of T's sculpts, it was a pleasure to bring to life. Thanks!

Something that looks kinda basic, but took a bit of time to do actually.

1/6 Bret Hart boots for tbay's Bret custom which I painted the head for earlier this year.

The black stars were sculpted on, but not the pink inner stars. I had to paint those in to look like they were not just flat against the white.
