Well if you are cool with that. I just rationalize that I can buy another statue for that extra overhead.

Well #79 of 1000 arrived. Unfortunately one of his hair strands on the left side of his head was broken off.

Now I know sideshow won't send me a replacement because that would involve replacing almost the entire statue.

Second, If I ship it back it will cost me $100 at a minimum due to the size of the box and it's weight. I don't get the shipping rates SSC gets. Furthermore I live in Canada.

Can I request a partial refund? It's a clean break so I think I can fix it but it will never be considered mint. If I can request a partial refund, what is a reasonable amount? I was thinkin the cost it would cost me to ship the thing back.

SSC will arrange pickup if need be so it wouldn't cost you a dime to ship it back. If you go the partial refund it's usually $40-$50.

I work out and I'm fit. It's just so big that I can't even wrap my arm around this box. I'm worried that because of the boxes size people could get their skaars broken when the shipping people drops the box. The weight is pretty heavy not seen in too many other statues these days.

No... I'm not paying $300+ on top of the MSRP on ebay for an axe. I can live without it. Congrats on those who pre-ordered it.

The axe is nice, but this is one of the those pieces you can't go wrong with the regular. I got the Ex, but I would order the regular in a second. Awesome statue. Congrats.

I agree. I also have the EX. However, even the REG looks badass.

Well..... We are not only getting the axe but also the sword handle that goes on the back and the print. I have to agree that $650 is a lot if money for it, but the potential this piece has to reach $1000 is very high in my opinion. I mean, people pay 1200, 1400 bucks for Hulk PF and that doesn't even has extra pieces....

Very few statues will become grails and I think Skaar, Joker and Batman are among them, as well as Mythos Kenobi statue eventually Superman PF....

Just my humble opinion.....

Now is the best time buy the ex, it's not too high yet, it will go up more in few months. Ss havent do this kind statue for a long time. Love the size and the weight are the best . I bought the regular since the ex didn't confirm, but I had chance to buy ex off my friend with retail, so I am a happy man.

I might have to get this one. I have my auctions ending tomorrow and this one could've have popped up at a better time. Also, thanks for heads up on the Angel EX a few weeks back. Used my points and got myself one of those too.

I am stuck between getting the Captain America The First Avengers PF and Skaar ... I can only afford the one now. So I am leaning towards Cap since he has been out there longer. Oh and I would have to get the regular.

already tried, but he won't ship to Canada. and most on Ebay won't either, or at least the reasonable priced ones.
