While I'd normally be one of the first to jump on the "EX or fail!!!!" bandwagon, as I got the regular--and decided it isnt by any means a fail--I have to rationalize.

Overall I'm extremely pleased I got Skaar, especially at the price I got him, as he's maybe the only Marvel PF that has interested me mucho in the last year or so.

I have the regular and I really tried to convince myself that I didn't need the Ex., but that was short lived. As far as I got with that way of thinking was to open for inspection. Put it together. Came into this thread to see the EX, and packed him back up and stored him in the garage. With the rest of the boxes. There's nothing wrong with the reg. just I wanted to display with the axe a little more, really a lot more.

No convincing in my case. If I can find one of my original posts I was one of those that said I preferred the twin swords display. I've seen the EX axe and the print (which I think is AMAZING) and I'm pleased with the reg; even if I had the EX--and I dont intend to search for one--I would still display it with both swords, just my preference really.

I think the axe is HUGE though! Amazing display option, especially since you can also put the "fake" sword in the sheath if you choose to display the axe. I can understand why you and most other freaks would choose the axe display; I can also understand why the EX of this piece is so highly sought after. I'm not confused that I'm in the minority here...

I hi just got my skaar ex and this thing is very nice! Does his right hand holding the big knife next to the base screw on any tighter? It's hold and does not shake. But I'm still worried someday if it falls it will break. Any suggestions on this? Theres no flaw but I'm just worried. Any way to secure it on?

Hmmm I just might do this. maybe tissue paper inside the hand and metal rod to tighten it up? I wonder if I can take it back out if I do that.
