The international version is really good as well. Its called Let the Right Ones In. You should check it out if you haven't seen it. I own both versions, the original and the american release and they are both equally good

Yup. Seen let the right one in aswell and its just as good. Really good movies and so underrated . Greatest vampire movies I've seen.

During production, the studio execs were expecting a flop. But it had a lot of fan buzz building (including promotion at Comic Con before its release) and they had lines around the corner on opening day.

Many thought Titanic was not going to make money for its cost and look what it did for a drama. Avatar too presented some worries for its cost. No way anyone could have predicted 1 billion plus for Skyfall too
