Re: Small_Studios Figure Gallery
Someone asked for more pics, better to see this and his older counterpart on bodies which I will soon supply. Let me just say there's a few guys work I need to photograph carefully I'm order to make their work look best. In hand things look good, we are talking about a one inch head blown up ten times.
With josh there is no padding, he is that technical. No tricks, lighting angles or retouching,.
It's hard to believe you keep getting better. Further to that you're working from sculpts with a lot less detail than that of hot toys. You don't just pull out detail you create it. People can call me a cheeseball but these belong in a gallery. Yet It's in my closet geek of a closet... With a hundred other figures, all of which are currently packed away mind you but alas,
I've been thinking of creating a blog or even a pintrist that showcases artists work with my photography ive followed, begged and somehow managed to be lucky enough to have about 6 I think? Josh small heads. They've taken things on the bottom of my list to the top in terms of favorites. They deserve a place to be showcased other than my cooking polluted from neighbor underneath, figure closet.
You have to remember guys how much of a craft this is. It takes hours, concentration, passion, raw talent. Break it down and it's not for much money it's about a true passion. I'm glad I found this board for the gift of being able to own artist like Josh's work. Thanks josh and the rest who share that gift with us.
Group hug!
