Hi people, and thank you. I really liked building this one, so to get some awesome feedback from you guys makes me feel awesome.
I’m getting into the habit now of taking more photos as I build. I don’t have any right from the start, but I took plenty when I remembered. This project started with just the head from Hasbro’s Zuckuss. The first pic shows the modifications I made on the head. It also marks the start of my progress with the middle shot. I actually made use of forearms (top left) from the previous build.
The next shot is how I made the hands and gloves. I used wire, shreds of material and PVA glue.
Then some angles, or head shots, on the finished head.
Final pic is construction of the gas tanks. Good old fashioned kit bashing. The straps are tank tracks. Some 1/35th scale tank kits use a soft rubber, one piece, track. The gas tanks are thrusters and the tip from the Saturn V Rocket. I purchased two of these to make a studio scale Tie-Bomber. The rest is various bits and pieces.
For a brief back story, this guy is a shady weapons dealer. Has more kills from malfunctions than kill shots. And it was a malfunction, while demonstrating his own product, that blew half his head off and left him in a steaming pile of twitches and moans. When he recovered, it was revealed that he had been robbed of all his shonky weapons and his ship. The only clue left behind was the 3ft dagger lodged into his chest. The Gands are a tough breed. Still sells weapons now, but also has a new hobby…REVENGE!!!
