Holy crapola was this a trash movie.
Buuuuuut......I kinda liked it.
It just reminded me of the ****** B-movie ninja movies I would catch on late night cable as a kid. Ninja III: The Domination. Enter the Ninja.
That's all this movie is, except they spent 100 times as much money making it and it still looks as cheesy and schlocky as the movies from the 80s.
I just can't believe how incredibly devoid of even a SHRED of creativity Hollywood is. This movie has probably the best example I've ever seen.
It's set in Japan. And so was a Gaspar Noe movie that most of you never saw called "Enter the Void" that came out about 10 years ago. I very much hated that movie, but it has one of the best title sequences I've ever seen.
Well, I guess someone at the studio was like "Duuuuh, that movie was in Tokyo and THIS movie is in Tokyo, so let's make the credits sequence the same!!!"
Credits sequences are all the same. Movie trailers are all the same. And you guys wonder why I hate everything.
