the look I want is a good bar room brawl saloon style!!! This is what I have got so far. I wanted a bit o a black eye... unfortunately the pics dont show it up top well. I have made his eye nice and blood shot... I will take new pics in the morning.

For a black eye you want to use purples and reds, and perhaps green depending on how old it is. Black eyes and bruises are caused by capillaries rupturing beneath the surface of the skin. Make it mottled too.

Greg, that Pitt is ace and the eye looks brilliant. I like the subtly of it.... Mine is a bit more IN YOUR FACE as the youth would say.

I think it looks really good mark! Looks like he's been hit by a wompa lol awesome work! I slowly build up layers of blue and red wash, also use a bit of sepia wash

Crimsonbob - FOR THE EMPEROR! Nice Space Marine - I wish Sideshow had the rights to make 1/6 Warhammer 40K figures. I have their Space Marine statues from several years ago, so I was hopeful for a while. It doesn't seem like it's going to happen though... I will just have to rely on excellent customs like you to give me my 1/6 WH40K fix!
