Just spoke to Mark and he is on his way home from the hospital, looks like everything went well.

He jokingly called himself "Steve Austin the Six Million Dollar Man!" :)

Knowing Mark, Im sure he will cast up some bits tonight when he gets home. :D

He said he's flat on his back drinking through a straw, and that he watched the procedure.....

:thud:

Oww guys you lot doooh!!!! Cheers I appreciate all the well wishes.

Yeah yesterday was great, really amazing I had a thing called a PFO which is like a hole in the heart between the two side and they think thats what caused my stroke so they bunged it up for me yesterday. I was able to see the procedure which was mind blowing but really cool.

I should be be back to normal (I use the word normal in the looses possible terms) in a week and then back to work possibly.. but we will wait and see if I can handle that a I still a wee bit SPECIAL due to the stroke.

I just want to say a MASSIVE thanks to everyone over the past 10 months since the stroke. All the encouragement and help folks have given me. I also want to pick out Cbob and Chaka in particular for their supports and friendship to.... and Mary Feroze who has kept me company sat in my kitchen and made me laugh just about every day.

Thank you all so so so much....

NOW ENOUGH OF THIS... on with the dollies... well I was not allow to take my dollies to hospital yesterday to paint up because I had to lay still and flat for 7 hours blah blah and they would not let me steal anything (so many cool looking little parts to make dios from). But been playing with the space marines LOTS and got cracking this morning.

Reworked the bolter a wee bit, and I have started making a sergeant with a MK VI studded pad... :)

Awwwww mark I had no idea at all! I hope everything is ok with you? Wish you all the look in the world my friend! If there is anything I can do let me know buddy! Oh and I must say your new custom is mind blowing you have so much talent it's untrue :)

Mark first off hope the op ends the stroke troubles for the future mate. Also Speedy recovery and WHO on this board is NORMAL anyway (it`s all hype really about being Normal).

Now no sooner home and a nights sleep we see you back at it Bloody hell mate you are truely a man of passion.

Now as for the Space Marine, DAMN he looks fantastic and great to see the Eagle on the weapon, Domes on the shoulder armour (you doing leg armour to match?) and that Powerr Glove Good God that`s so sweet.

Now you get well, get time in with the dollies and here`s to seeing MORE.

Cheers Ja and Greg :)

I would love to make a MKIV Marine.. I think Cbob is gonna have a crack at a new helm, slightly smaller and then I will do a MKVI

I am reworking the shins and changing the Knee pad to. I have still got so much to do on him. The paint job is really rough as it was just to get the feel of it.

I think I am going to do a full 5 man tactical squad but my 40k knowledge is not to good, but when I re-do the knee I will put terminator honours on his pad.

I have also been excited about some other stuff. When I first got into 1/6th I looked at the Panzer Cop Jin Roh Figures and was totally blown away so I have decided I would see what they were like. Elvis is sending me some armour :( but we think its got lost in the post... But my figure is ready and waiting.....

You just better hope Feroze doesnt post pics he showed me of your mug in the hospital bed. :D

Cheers dude!!

Hahahha I should have taken more but they said I had to keep still during the op and I was not avowed mybphone in there hahahhaha

welcome back buddy..........:hi5:

that space marine pretty much symbolizes what you are all about.............tough as nails, badass, & lethal.............:lecture

That's looking really cool. No idea where all this comes from, never seen any of it. But that doesn't stop it from looking cool! The breather mask on toasty Anakin is fantastic.

And very glad to hear that everything went well! Speedy recovery man, speedy!
