Ive split the 1st airborne helm dorgs, width looks good. Glue gun time now then some sculpting. Im on yahoo msn atm.

Looks fantastic Dorg , the Scout is currently top of my "Grail" list . ( Nearly had my hands on one a couple of weeks back , but wasn't quick enough ). One thing though , have you thought of filling in the gaps in the armour where the elastic loops through? It's easy enough if you use a filler like Milliput which doesn't flex . Just back the hole with a bit of plasticard and fill the hole . Then you can simply attach a new piece of elastic to the inside with superglue .:D

I wouldn't, they really are like that.

And here you can see the area I was talking about with the fabric area around the inner thighs...

Rough as ***** atm, just got the basic build up going on still before sculpting it smooth and replacing any lost detail.

You might want to find some reference pictures before you do that. If I'm not mistaken that is the way they actually were in ROTJ. The gaps were there on the original armor I believe.

That already happened. It has been established that the holes are there in the real armor. :D

Right managed to squeeze a little time in today whilst helping Liam build a fine desk in his room. Not as big as my desk.. but his does have nice curves... humm why didn't I do that on mine...

any way chuffin loads to do and I love it!!!

I love to multitask so... today I have worked on my tie pilots, dremeled out their helms and gonna do theeir belt buckles later ( I love em)
dremmeled down a Tomy lando skiff helm to... wanted it to fit on aSS lando swede but the helm is now a thin as a *** paper and his darned afro is to big.

Also wanted to do a we bit more on my Jabba corner.

Cut out the grill today. Really enjoying it want to take my time on this.

Ow and I aslo started on some Vibro staffs.
