Hey Dorgs, ever think of recasting one of those 3p0's and making it into an armor suit for a figure? Could improve the articulation a lot that way... I see on the far left you have the Masterpiece/Collector's 3p0 or whatever that can have all its limbs pulled off, you could dis-assemble that and recast the pieces individually! And if you roto-casted it right it could end up as a hollow piece...

what do you think? I think it would be a good idea, I'd do it but I don't have the time... I'm slammed with work these days, and I'm still working on that Kyrr Geron figure I started!

It might be worth a try...

And I think I saw somewhere a pic of you holding a casted 3p0 head, does that mean you've already started on this?

I think the problem with the droid suit idea is that you will run into issues with the knees, shoulders and elbows, which will probably make a figure done that way not look right at all if you tried to keep all the articulation. Anyhow I think the Hasbro's 3po's are fine, how much articulation did whats his face have in that suit during filming,?..None, the poor guy couldn't even sit down while wearing that suit.

any way today has been busy and I like being busy.
I have been working a little on the Commandos but have run out of silicon but they will not stop me!! well... it will a bit... but you can keep a good gal down... so

Now Bidufarewell sent me a head that he use as a base for his Dengar.. So I took a mould, cast it in plaster have him a hair cut, and few scares and a little something for the weekend. Here are the first casts.

I will do my bestestest' to pop a bit of slap on him tomorrow so we can see the detail better.

Now not wanting to come across as a bit of a lazy old chuffin fart in slippers and a pipe drinking sherry till the early hours of the morning I thought I would pop a couple of pics of other tings I am playing with!! No not that... it makes you go blind and your hair fall out..

Cbob sent me the airbourn chummy Bucket to cast up so here is a wee shot of the GG mini next to it!! and as you can see Cbobs is a loverly BIGGON!!

Last up on todays mis adventures...Scout troopers.. Now I love all my dollies but the scouts have always been a fav. I got really anoyed with the prices in the UK of bits and pieces and I have two scouts, but only one blaster and one set of improved shoulder pads.

Well.....

I like a challenge so I thought, hey leave Cbob enormous helmet for a mo and make some pads and a blaster... but as usual I got carried away, which is better than being taken away like last time.. took me months to escape anyway... pics...

I have not had chance to clean em up much what with work getting in the way and stuff.. but you get the idea.

Well the way it works is like this...

The way I am trying to do it s is I ask for a donation towards postage and resin thats it. Its totally up to you how much you donate, if £5 then that is fine or if its £500 (i would send it back lol).

It cost $9 for postage to the usa... the rest is up to you .. I will not be offended or anoyyed if you give me $1 its is tough times for every one and I want everybody to be able to get stuff not just folks with loads of cash.

Mark, you're a legend, the Dengar headsculpt turned out excellent! I've been trapped in Lanzarote by the volcano, only got back tonight Looking forward to catching up on everything that's been going on here since I've been away.
