The green portions look lime green, can you confirm if it looks that way in person or is the camera making it seem that way

Green portions should have a more brown tint

Might just be the picture but this paint compared to the proto looks flat

I think you might need to adjust your monitor. I don't see line green at all.

That is one SOLID piece, in more ways than one. Congrats to all that got it. I'm bowing slowly but surely out of the LOTR line.

Looking at my cave troll...this new piece might be very similar in size...if that's the case for 25 bucks more for snow troll compared to cave troll that came out a decade ago...not bad markup compared to say Weta's newest pieces...plus this one sounds as heavy and solid as the older cave troll...again will take those pics for comparison in a few days

This thing is massive and every bit as big as the cave troll. It's every bit as heavy as well. I think I might have killed myself setting him up. He's a very detailed piece and a great addition to this lotr line. It's nice to have a massive beast statue again.

it also has a very nice es of 500. Keep in mind no ex, so that's total es which is many times smaller than most statues when you combine ex + reg.

this will be a grail, just matter of time. Probably in a few years since lotr statues take more time.

Its a great statue. I've been impressed with it since I saw it at Comic-Con in 2011. As far as which to get I think it depends on if you're more into PF or statues.

For anyone who has it -

(1) Does the the troll's hand look ok without the dwarf in it (is the palm-side finished/painted)?

(2) Does the dwarf just rest in the troll's hand or is there a peg/hole?

He would look ok without the dwarf.

He just rests in his hand.
