So Enterbay have changed everything up by opening up the 1/4 market with the T2 T-800. Hot Toys is now quickly playing catch up.
And Enterbay are also launching their black label line which are essentially 1/6 scale premium format statues.
Sideshow is slowly launching their 1/2 legendary scale statues.
At the moment people are sort of resisting due to the high price point but how many will resist when the indiana Jones and Terminator are shown for the first time?
And I think all this is also driven by their only being so many epic iconic licenses that people want.
Once all the Terminator (and Robocop and Rocky, etc...) stuff is built in 1/6, if they want to continue to milk it, its either rerelease or up scale.
But its got me thinking, why settle for anything now unless its EXACTLY what you want. Because what you want will come out eventually and most likely sooner rather than later now.
How long until the first Terminator 1/2 scale figure is announced?
Don't know if I'll buy the upcoming Enterbay FoF articulated Bruce Lee because I think I'll wait for their inevitable 1/2 scale Enter the Dragon statue.
Are you going to buy the next 1/4 scale Sideshow Iron Man mk4 statue or just wait until Hot Toys make the articulated figure version? You know both will happen....
