the only obvious issue to me are the eyes being slightly too big.
but that aside, I think its a great piece overall. Ive decided to not collect the LOTR lines, but if I did, I wouldnt hesitate to get the Frodo. I think he looks fine as-is.

real hair only works on pieces that either have very straight hair or on pieces that have wild hair that doesnt have to have any specific "style" to it. Def stay with the sculpted hair on this one.

Me too, because I aint a hairstylist. I get enough crap for futzing with costumes from my wife, but playing with their hair? No chance. I'm secure with my "manly-ness" (lol) but playing with hair is NOT what I need to do. MAYBE if a PF Chewie had hair and looked great, would I do it. But Chewie is always the exception:chew :chew :chew

I actually don't have any Frodo in my collection, and I am looking forward to finally getting him. I'm glad that I will be purchasing the definitive Frodo currently on the market. I think this is the best Frodo yet released and he is a "no brainer" purchase for me after seeing Lurtz and deciding to get all of the LOTR PFs.

I agree that this is the definitive Frodo. I really like my SSW statue but this one is better than the SSW version.

I almost paid eBay prices for the SSW Frodo on a few occasions, and now I am sure glad that I didn't. I prefer the PF.

I got mine from a LOTRG member for just above retail so no biggie as I think it's worth it but the PF Frodo just looks awesome. The thing that I like so much about the SSW one is it captures what Frodo is going through IMO during the whole trilogy.
