Soap Studio 1/12 DC figures

Do you guys see that 89 Batmobile in the last picture? Is that part of their collection?

It's a speaker. Don't know about the scale.

Those look amazing; I've never heard of Soap Studio, have they done anything else?

This is Soap Studios, the same company that made the high end remote control Tumbler a few years ago.

I still don't get the hype of the Dark Knight series. Really wish companies would either move on or try to make a series based on the older Batman movies.

You mean Mezco. Mafex doesn't do soft goods besides capes.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the fact that these are mostly Nolan Batman figures and Mafex has put out more of them than most other lines.

I think this is the only place I've seen them up for preorder? Arrow and Flash, both have standard and special editions that include a headsculpt. Arrow comes with an additional hand and note in special edition.

$83 and $97 each from OSK; I'm hoping for a domestic US release for the Batman figures I'm interested in, but that's kinda pricey. Hope they'll be cheaper.

Thanks. Damn well that kind of killed my interest in this line at that $110 price point. Might as well order at OSK over those BBTS prices of the special versions. I guess I'll see whenever they put up the Batman ones.

I highly doubt there is a big enough audience to see $100 7 in figures from Arrow and Flash actually turn a profit.

Looks like they're coming as a set. I think they look better than Soap's CW DC figures so far but I'm still not really sold on them yet. In-training BB Bruce and Ra's aren't really figures I want enough to spend nearly $200 on.

Those look great, too bad the Ra's isn't sold separately.
But do we wait and see if Mafex will do their own version, or do we give in and go with this one?

So these seem well done and comparable to the Mezco's price wise. I am going to consider these as we never got a 1/6 Ras or training Bruce.

I think that TDK Batsuit looks great. It's the first one I've seen in this scale that doesn't look all roided out.
