It'll just be wrong to see preorders for fake Han and Lando and no Cassian or Krennic. Guess I can't complain when I think about what it must be like to be an X-Men fan.

I would have thought you'd give this more of a shot after seeing RO.

I mean, we've got some awesome directors- decent cast etc. I say give it a chance.

I'll totally give it a chance. LFL has more than earned that from me. And honestly I'm not upset about any of their casting choices or worried about them "messing up" anything since it will be easy to separate it from RO and the OT. I mean I didn't freak out that they made that "Young Indiana Jones" series. I didn't watch a single episode, but at least I didn't freak out.

But I'll watch this Han reboot. And I may well enjoy it. But it is pretty fun to mock it in the meantime.

We're still over a year out, I wonder if we will get a peek at celebration or not. The only problem I have thus far is the casting choice for Han. Not because I think he can't act the part, but because he doesn't look the part. That other guy in the Rom Com had young Harrison down, but it almost felt too forced which is why I believe they went with the other guy. Time will tell, but I am ecstatic that they got Childish Gambino for Lando. Great casting there.

Can't way to see the new actor surpass Harrison Ford in every single way. He'll be the definitive Han Solo for a new generation of kids. He and little Rey, together the faces of SW for the next 20 years. It's going to be great. It's going to be fantastic.

Now, if only method actor Jared Leto could join SW, that would make me even happier.

I don't think that any amount of success will take away Ford's massive contribution to the Franchise. People gave RO negative points for too many "callbacks", I think those people will loathe this movie.

I wonder if we will see any CGI work for Han to make him look closer to Ford. It's probably not off Disney's table.

Hopefully they at least have the wherewithal to give it a cool name like those old spin off novels ("Han Solo at Star's End," etc.) They really don't need to call out "A Star Wars Story" when you've got the name Han Solo already in the title.
