Okay guys, heres some pix of my current room set up.

NOTE:All the Dolphins stuff in the corner is getting moved to my bedroom, so please disregard it.

I have some room in the above mentioned corner once the Dolphins stuff is out, but as you can see the shelves on the walls take up a lot of wall space.

This week I picked up this metal shelf unit for free at a junk store, Its 60"x72" and heavy as hell. It would fit nice one one wall, and I could display nearly all my 12" figures on it. Granted there are more figures on the way, but I have the whole bottom shelf to work with.

My question is, does the big unit look to cluttered with so many figures on it?? Should I toss it and stick with my current display option, which is quickly running out of room? I have Jabba on the way and I need to do something fast:eek:

Also, this isnt how I intend to display the figures if I keep the unit,I just wanted to get all of them on there for referance.

Anyway, and comments, suggestion are welcome. Thanks.

You think it looks fine on the new shelf or you think the current display looks fine??

I like the new shelf unit. It allows a bit of space and it allows you to display all your figures.

I think it's cool having them all displayed together, makes more of an impact than having some here and some there.

Love the poses on the Spinal Tap figs. I don't think it looks too cluttered, but that shelf is doing a disservice to your collection I think.

And that Elder Predator looks cool...I think I'm going to have to get him.

What do you mean by doing a disservice Dave. Is it just the shelf itself that you dont like?

And yes, you must own an Elder Pred!!! Its awesome!

Lol i liked your Freddy Scarface :monkey5 , mmmm i think that all the Jason and Freddys in the top of the shelf look really cool

I myself have always preferred having a few, select pieces out on display at any one time, and rotating them for a more simple, eye catching display. So for me personally, it is a little cluttered yes

but it's not my money, I didn't pay for them :) so you get to display them however you like ;)

I think that the big unit does look a bit cluttered and like was said before me, it can be less appealing to the eye. Although, I think the Freddy and Jason figures look really neat how they are because there is just such a massive amount of them.

I could be wrong here, but I think the display would work better if you put some type of backing on the shelves.

I like the wall shelves better, it gives your collection a cleaner appearance. The Black shelves look a bit too cluttered.

I prefer the original set-up... just looks more interesting. Also it seems like that big shelf might not really fit with the dimensions of your room.

But if you needed more room you could always move boxes out of the way and use that space for more figures.

Ok like I said I git rid of the black shelf, and rearranged a bit

Looks MUCH better IMO. The only thing that would bother me is Darkness and Predator being on the same plank of your case...that's a lot of weight, wouldn't want it to break....

I thought about that, but it pretty sturdy and surprisingly they really aren't that heavy.
