Demo up on xbla...dunno about psn

Whoa, really? The game is still 5 months away! :horror

I checked the googles and found out that the demo is on PSN as well, and will only be available and playable for 20 days. After 20 days, even if you've already downloaded it, it won't work anymore.

Need to get home to play... :panic: :panic: :panic:

Demo is like real short it's only got the classic stage but it's still worth it.

Pretty bad idea to release a demo so far ahead of the game's actual release date.

I haven't had the chance to download and play it, but reading some impressions its not the best first impression Sega could have made.

Remixed Green Hill Zone is awesome.

The stage looks pretty nice but Sonic himself is pretty blurry/fuzzy.

I know Green Hill Zone is the most basic Sonic level but I hope that the rest of the game isn't just limited to running in a straight line to get from A to B with Classic Sonic.

With SEGA revealing the rather tempting Sonic Generations Collector's Edition yesterday, the pricing has now emerged for the big celebratory 20th anniversary box, which includes an art book, a gold ring, the soundtrack CD, a 'History of Sonic' documentary, a limited edition lenticular sleeve, bonus DLC and a Sonic Generations figurine.

If you want it though, you'll need to collect an extra life's worth of quids, as the RRP for the Collector's Edition has been set at £99.99 (that's about $160) on Amazon.co.uk, who are selling it for a discounted price of £85.52 at time of writing.

That's a lot of money, but then just look at it. It's awesome. Is it £100 worth of awesome? That depends on just how big a Sonic the Hedgehog fan you are. Sonic Generations is out in November 2011.

pshh sonic may not compete with the modern stuff out today but its still sonic dammit so i will be getting this.

Loved the Demo but I will be waiting for a price drop, too many other titles to play, and no collectors edition like what euro gamers are getting means no real reason to pay full price.

I'll get this eventually, but of all the "revival" titles of old-school platformers and such, I end up playing them for a day and then I give 'em up for other modern games, no matter how good they are.

The only one I've played from beginning to end has been Donkey Kong Country Returns, as it was exceptionally good. Probably my favorite of the revival titles.
