As shocking as that was, looking at it in hindsight, I'm not surprised. There's not any other way it could've gone down. Dramas don't get wrapped up in happy bows.

And did Juice just frame Jax for Roosevelt and Tara's murder?? Patterson got that squint in her eye like Jax was a suspect.

I'm really curious at Juice's motivation, just that Jax has been using him for a long time and Gemma's been nice to him, so he's playing that side??

I honestly expected Juice to walk in front of a bus after his and Jax's lil' moment. Not sure where they're taking him now.

Expected Tara to bite it...didn't for a second think that Gemma would be the one to do it (up until she took off on Unser of course). Man was that brutal to watch.

Dang it! Guess it had to happen. I am curious to hear what everyone thinks about Juice's motivation...

It did look like Jax was going to be a suspect but there is no way Gemma would let that happen. Gemma is a tough broad who loves her little boy. I think she would confess before letting Jax take the wrap.

At first, I thought Juice was going to take the blame as a way of apologizing to Jax but now I really don't know. I hope someone on hear can enlighten me. September is a long way off :(

Looks like a nice set up of Nero vs Jax next season. At this point, I would like to see Nero be the last man standing. I really like his character.

The other thing I guffaw'd at was Jax' heartfelt speech, then moments later, annihilating that dove with his bike.

The best kind of symbolism is the kind that smacks you upside the head.

I totally forgot that Roosevelt was the one that made Juice flip. . . so, there's your motivation right there. He's the guy that forced him to steal the coke, which led to him killing Miles, his suicide attempt, etc. All of Juice's problems started with Roosevelt.

There's an interview with Theo Rossi, that deals directly with this here

Remember Jax framed Clay for Pope's murder and Juice didn't like it. Jax also ordered Juice take out Dave Navaro's GF. Juice has a list of reasons for wanting to see Jax go down for this.

Juice screwed himself by letting the bag lady live.

Tara was never going to get out of this show alive but damn that was brutal. Too much for my wife to watch, she left the room. One of the more disturbing deaths on this series, maybe second to Tig's daughter.

I think Tara was red-shirted earlier this episode when Jax told her to go live life with his blessing and she actually thought it was going to work out.

Just when I thought my hatred for Gemma could not become any deeper lol. It was inevitable it was going to go down like this but as others have said still hard to watch :(.

Jax may be a suspect in Patterson's eyes but there's not a chance he's going anywhere for the murders of Roosevelt and Tara. No murder weapon for Tara as Juice destroyed the evidence, ballistics would prove the bullets in Roosevelt did not come from Jax's handgun, as much as I hate Gemma I can't see her letting Jax take the hit and also he has a pretty iron clad alibi. He spent the whole evening in the ice cream shop with his boys. Multiple witnesses and CCTV. Not a chance the death of Tara and Roosevelt will stick to him.

Surprised Juice let Gemma live kind of ****s his chances of getting out of this. Honestly thought as others have said he was going to just top himself after his chat with Jax.

I watch this show off and on, but not on a regular basis so I never really know what's going on, however I did catch last nights episode.
It was really shocking to me what Gemma did.
I knew she'd go after Tara after Walter said she made a deal and Jax was going to be arrested. That guy Juice (?) that helped Gemma knows he's going to get it anyways so I think he's going to take the blame to save Gemma or just help her cover up the murder and in doing so he'll be protected by her. That's my guess but then again, I don't know how he "betrayed" Jax. Because I haven't watched any of this season other than last night's episode. I have to say, the killing was brutal and hard to watch.

NOW I have to start watching this again! :lol

Any chance at this point that Jax takes out his own mother?

Gertrude dies in the final act of Hamlet when she is poisoned by a cup of wine Claudius had intended for Hamlet.

Clay is dead, so no poison cups this time, but the play Hamlet would suggest neither Gemma or Jax survive season 7.

At this point I wonder if Jax's first instinct is to suspect his mom. I doubt it. Ignoring DA Patterson and his imminent arrest for a moment -

  1. Soon Jax will learn Nero has chosen sides with the Mayans against him. Jax also knows Nero is pissed about Arcadia's GF. Nero isn't the type to get his own hands dirty but he might order the Mayans to even the score. Jax will also learn Nero severed his relationship with Gemma, further distancing himself from any level of trust. Nero would be Jax's first suspect.
  2. Jax gave Juice the "Kiss of Death". It was Fredo and Michael all over again but Juice isn't going to quietly go fishing. Jax has to consider this is Juice lashing out. Jax also knows Juice was pressured by Roosevelt and has a grudge there.
  3. Jax knows SAMCRO is worried about what Tara knows. He might be thinking Bobby Elvis's first act as Pres is to order Mr Mayhem on Tara behind Jax's back. Jax could think Bobby is saving Jax from her testimony and the club from any future RICO.
  4. Yes, Gemma's on Jax's suspect list but she's not in the top spot.

:exactly:
There's no way he'll see jail more than booking and release once the evidence comes back for those murders. I'm guessing the deal's also off the table given Tara's dead. The only bad thing is they're setting up Wendy to take the kids, but how crazy is it that she's the sane one? :cuckoo: :lol

I'd beg to differ. Unser came into the Ice Cream shop looking for her and told Jax, "Someone better tell your mother what's going on." She'll be Jax's prime suspect.

Maybe but I think Jax is going to have a hard time picturing Gemma successfully doing all of that by herself (and of course she didn't). I don't expect he will be analytical right away, maybe the club puts the pieces together while Jax sits in a cell.

An excellent season. It's a long wait until September. I hope the show will finish well.

Best part about it, my wife was crying and stated, "That's it, I'm done with this horrible show!" when Tara was getting forked, but sat through the rest and even the bit of aftershow the DVR caught. So she'll be back next season. :yess: :lol

That means job well done for Sutter. Whenever you get any emotions, job well done.

Of course, didn't help that Unser told Gemma that Tara made a deal and Jax was going to jail not knowing what was going on himself either. I wonder if Jax would think that Unser either helped Gemma with the murders or even just blame him once he finds out what happened since he started the ball rolling with Gemma. I saw the writing on the wall for Tara as soon as her and Jax made up and sealed it when Gemma "duped" Unser and ditched him.

The thing that really bugged me about the writing was Jax not shown trying to get a hold of Gemma to tell her what was going on at any point even up to when he was going to turn himself in. He didn't have anyone even attempt to find her until the Unser visit. He told Bobby and Chibs to go whatever Tara asked but Gemma would have the biggest issue with that I would think. He would have to know that with the recent events between Gemma and Tara that there would be some sort of trouble. I know Jax had a lot going on but it just seems like lazy writing to get to the end game. I need to rewatch it though and see if I missed something there though.
