There is something to the angles argument, but...I can soften the angles some anyway. Meet in the middle. Make everyone happy.
Hey, it's just paint! In this case, an easy fix.
(Glad I posted these!)

That sculpt is SPOT on and the paint job is amazing. You rock Les. I think the only criticism I can give would be that the red paint on top of his head the notch that goes towards his forehead is more circular than angular.

Other than that, it is perfect.

OK, revised!

Might bring the red down the forehead a tad more...but too tired to do that tonight. Will balance up the sides of one or two also. Closer though I think.

On to the rest and then, on to Ryan! :rock
Round two coming soon!

:lol NOT fast so much, just committed to them being the best I could. And I still had the paints out. And embarrassed I'd missed such an important fix. I'd got one pattern drawn on one head, incorrectly, and just copied it to the others, multiplying the mistake.

Here are the FINAL versions of the heads.

No more changes for round one. Got an extra on hand as a go-by for Round Two and three, so I shouldn't miss details like the head paint shape next go round. Thanks for pointing that out while I still had the chance to get them corrected. :D

Now, officially, on to the next ones! :rock

That is why you rock around here, still fantastic work. I love the fact that you are open to comments about your stuff, it really does make you the master. I cannot WAIT to have the final product going to be a lot of fun.

Now that's dedication... and professionalism! :rock

Thanks guys. Just doing my duty to the standards we set here.
Speaking of which, the humidity levels here have hampered my dullcoating for a day or two, so I haven't mailed the heads and bodies to Ryan yet, but will by tomorrow regardless. I am using Krylon's Matte Finish these days, and it is not a good spread on days where the glass windows fog up due to extreme humidity. The paint won't set on test surfaces. I can't spray inside, so if I get a dry spell today, I will be out in the garage, hit the bodies with some dull, and let them set overnight, and off to Ryan they go!
Again, sorry. It's only a day or so extra...
Final quality matters to me.
