A great Theme and intro for those who don't know this Flash.

Thanks for this.

I loved this show in the 90’s and always got excited about the intro. The show definitely could be cheesy at times but it was a fun watch.

I think this figure is a nice adaptation of that Flash. But as another guy with a one figure per character rule I won t get this because I have the Flash movie version on PO.

This one does seem like a nice figure at a pretty low price.

That original Flash show in the 1990's was way better than that CW garbage.
Luckily I didn’t watch that either.

I never had any interest in the Flash until I watched the animated Flashpoint movie.
Before then I was judging the character solely on his suit, his ability to run fast, and a few Smallville appearances- which didn’t make him particularly compelling.

The 90s show was decent for the time. I haven’t watched it in a while though so not sure how well it really holds up.

In spirit, I think it was probably the closest we’ve ever gotten to capturing the vibe of the DCAU in live-action. In reality? It shows its age, but is still delightful. Frankly, I think it was really ahead of its time and the cast had amazing chemistry. I’m not big on this figure (I echo what people have said about it being older Barry), but my hope is it shows the viability of the property for some of the other companies out there (I’d love to see Mars Toys tackle the ‘90s version, for instance).

I was thinking the same thing earlier about the cast chemistry. Everyone, including the villains, were likeable. The acting was perfect.

Superhero movies lost their way. Superhero movies need cheese. This was an excellent show. compare it to modern CW shows, and this was way more watchable. The plots and characters worked much better than todays movies and shows.

I loved this and the Superboy Show from the 90's. Just an excellent show and that Flash costume on the original show was beautiful. Modern movie characters suffer from over design or in Superman's case just not well designed compared to what came before it.

The reason the costume worked was the Dark Red really worked well for a show that was somewhat gritty...it felt like it belonged in the Batman(Keaton) universe.

looks pretty decent. Can't wait for the Real Jay Garrick reveal. Honestly didn't expect them to continue with the CW flash line

I saw some HD episodes of the original show on youtube and it's really fantastic.

I noticed the suit itself in the TV series has stress marks all over probably due to degradation due to shoulders and arms being flexed.

Fabric was and is the way to go, I am even more certain.

Pre-ordered 1.....might do a second one and hope someone can do an unmasked sculpted head for me down the line.

It only partially evokes the original Flash design to me. As others have said, that design had very strongly defined muscles. This guy also looks too chunky. But considering this is probably the only figure of this guy we're ever going to see, I would go for it if I were a bigger fan.

Giantoy is my go-to site for Soosoo figures. You typically have to create an account with them before it will let you see certain figures but they’re great to deal with.

Here's a 5% off coupon for your first order at Giantoy. To accept, use my referral link:

Oh man, I really appreciate that but I had ordered from TNS a little while before your post. Mainly because I also want to pick up something else from them soon. I really appreciate the gesture though :)

I always thought that one of the defining features of Shipp's 90's was how bulky it made him look:

But to be fair, I'm pretty sure Soosoo is basing this figure on how Shipp looked on the Arrowverse Flash (chunkier and less muscle-shading) :

I know the figure isn't 100% perfectly accurate but I am so excited to get this figure. I never thought we'd finally get him. I met JWS at a comic con I think two years ago, one of the nicest guys and really embraces the fans :)
