Man, I guess since SooSoo doesn't have to go through the approval process, they can just pump stuff out.

The hardest part is the head sculpt, which they would have had the base work done for their Robin, so that probably helped. But yeah, the season wasn’t that long ago so it’s a pretty quick turn around regardless. Figured they’d make him after doubling up on the other Robin and Nightwing.

I was fine with this actor as Jason Todd but never really could see him as Red Hood - and still can't. They probably should've waited a season and let him get a little older first. Not to mention that the shelf presence will be bad at only a mere 28cm tall. Good release but I will probably pass.

Is this figure shorter than a normal 1/6 figure? I don’t watch the show and also thinks the guy looks really young, but I have no plan to display Red Hood without his mask. Just want this figure for my bat family, but not if he’s going to look all weird by being much shorter like a kid.

If the photos are anything to go by, look at the length of the kneepads to the boots, it looks short. The actor is listed as 175cm height, so it should be around 29cm in 1/6 scale.

ankle extenders is the best option for this kind of problem. It's still an adult body type.

Preorders on this have probably closed, but when it releases, it will probably hit stock at some places. TNS will likely have it in stock when it lands- that's how they normally handle Soosoo figures anyway. They've got Night Vigilante 2.0 for PO, and that one looks like an upgrade so you're probably best off waiting for the new Nightwing.
