Kinda reminds of the material some of these custom Knightmare Batman coats are made out of.

Thats about it. I find it the same as the Daftoys Knightmare Bats coat.

Keep in mind Rorschachs jacket isn't leather. It's a waxed cotton material. The closest I've ever seen someone come close to replicating it is from savage studios when they did their own custom run a while back.

I know they used waxed fabric in the film but my guess is that they did that to get a particular effect that nevertheless looks like leather, especially in the scenes in the rain. It looks like leather on screen.

Yeah I'm kind of conflicted on this figure. I think a custom jacket from someone would help this figure a lot. The rest looks like it's just a matter of knowing to futz it down. Not too much to complain on though for a $150 figure.

The original jacket is complicated since they went with some kind of waxed cotton material, which I imagine is hard to replicate at this scale.

Yeah, exactly. For a figure they’re not going to make it the same as the prop in the film. The point of using that material was to produce a particular visual effect especially when wet, and it definitely looks like leather on screen, so… (Haha, okay I’ve repeated myself enough on the subject!)

Well, trenchcoats are made of waxed fabric… maybe that’s why they went for it.

Not going to lie, that trenchcoat looks really rough. Way too baggy in the arms and shoulders. Hate to use an old cliche, but very toy-like.

Here’s the plaque design and one of the stand styles available for this. I’m still working on a sidewalk style stand for him.
The individual plaque on the holder can be attached to the stock stand if some wanted to go that route.
