It really could go any way. So far Tony's been gut shot and in a major car accident. If he could live through that, I think he might be the last man standing.

And what about Paulie?

I think Paulie could turn out to be the one sellin' Tony out to New York...
...he mucked up the hit on Phil, he and Phil have been around the mob life for a lot of years, and he was making overtures to Johnny Sack before he kicked...

...I'm just sayin'....

I think Tony should get it. They are both scum bags for sure, but Tony is a royal sum bag and deserves to get hit.

I would not be surprised at all! Paulie has made me laugh a lot over the years but he is definatly a scum bag. Nice theory Jedibear.

Have no idea at all but my guess is that both will sleep with the fishes when the series ends. Or an alternate ending has Tony killing Phil and then Paulie runs to the feds to cut his own deal - they arrest Tony before the rest of Phils crew can reach him and Tony ends up behind bars in one of those super prisons. The last scene would be similar to the one with Dr. Melfi closing the door on Tony shutting him out. Only this time the cell door would close on Tony shutting him inside for the rest of his days.

I just watched yesterdays episode and I think you have a pretty solid theory there. Makes a lot of sense.
