Soul Calibur V was just announced at Namco's "Level Up" press event, currently going down in Dubai. No details are available, other than that the development team is looking at a 2012 release date. We'll keep you posted as more information becomes available.

I hope it has the character creation like 4. That was one of my favorite features in the game.

I hope it's good. For some reason, 3 and 4 didn't do much for me, but I loved the random creations in 4 because they were always hilarious.

I wish the designs would go back towards the first Soul Calibur. It was a good mixture between realism with some hint of anime, but the more recent designs just scream overdone teeny bopper anime to me.
