So I saw this guy reduced on Popculcha and thought it's almost release time, and pulled the trigger on it.

I was holding out to see what the InArt was going to look like, but to be honest as good as they are, I can't see them beating the Hot Toys sculpt.

Hot Toys sculpt is amazing. As well as the 2 hairstyles, moveable eyes, 2 Cowl types, wired cape, deluxe diorama. No way will InArt have more than that, and even if they do it will be at a significantly higher price.

That's my rational. Luckily InArt Supes and Batfleck have no need for rooted hair, so they will look even as far as sculpted hair go.

Can't wait to get him.

Yea, InArt took way too long on Batfleck. I’ll be happy with HT’s 2.0 standing next to the IA Supe’s in the next couple of months.

Guess I keep it simple and will stick to INART for the DC side of the collection. I’m not gonna worry about grabbing the Hot Toys offerings even if it means I gotta wait. Helps that I have plenty of other figures and representation to keep me busy too 😅

Inart can equal or create a better likeness (HT is like a 9 for me already) but their entire value offering won't be as good as HT imo - the figure, accessories and price will be hard to beat. Inart's will be 30%-50% more expensive at least.

Is that true with a standard InArt figure though? Buuing Superman and the standard Battinson figures from Hong Kong were no more expensive for me in the UK than buying a HT figure from Sideshow.

There will probably be a standard Batfleck without rooted hair from InArt priced fairly close to this HT 2.0.

I don't know where you bought from but I'm just talking about buying direct from source from Inart and HT. If you bought from a reseller through Sideshow and elswhere, then add 20%-30% excluding shipping and taxes onto the HKD prices. (I feel for overseas buyers.)

Inart and HT prices for their standard versions are comparable at ~US$300. But for Artisans Hot Toys are quite a bit cheaper than Inart, in HKD it's ~US$350 vs Inarts ~US$475 so Hot Toys may be better value if the figure is well made.

Prices and minor QC aside, I personally think Inart creates more realistic looking figures at the moment, so I'd go with Inart unless HT is much cheaper and on par with quality. For example, The Batman 2022 I bought in HK for US$245 at a discount - unbeatable value and both companies are on par (Inart was $350 I'm guessing?). However, Joaquin Phoenix Joker Artisan, HT is $400 vs Inart $1000 for 2 pack. I think HT's version sucks so I'm contemplating going with Inart for that one as long as i can get it for as close to retail (~$500 each).

In short, standard versions both companies are equal except on Artisan HT is more price competitive, but Inart's products look better and are higher priced. HT is more bang for buck.

Artisan Ledger Joker was $591 after taxes and shipping from Sideshow in the US for me. Artisan Phoenix Joker is $513 with taxes and shipped. InArt Premium Paul Atreides was $510 after shipping direct from Queen Studios to US.

You paid nearly $600 for HT Artisan Joker? Lord have mercy...
Yep, thats what the retail price was with taxes and shipping directly from Sideshow in the states. I've already paid it off except for shipping, but I've been thinking about canceling it. I could get my NRD back now as well since Sideshow recently sent the delay email.

I have the Artisan Imposter Joker and sculpted Inart Joker, and I feel satisfied enough with both of those really. Although, to me, the TDK Artisan has the superior overall headsculpt and paint out of the box. Down the road, I may look into having my Inart one repainted.

The more I sit on it, the more I realize I don't really need another in my collection. I'm not a Joker fanatic, and hopefully someone on here can get off the waitlist and enjoy it more.

So that's a 35% mark up from HKD price. Artisan Ledger Joker retail was HKD 3,380 / USD $434. Joker, a popular character is unsurprisingly more than their normal artisan prices, compared to Iron 2 Black Widow Artisan, that Hong Kong retail was HKD 2,480 / US$319 - good value actually.

Unfortunately there is zero way to get an Artisan at HKD prices being in the states. You either hope to get through the queue on Sideshow and pay their price, or you buy from someone like TimCent and pay even higher.

Black Widow was the cheapest for sure. She is $432 after taxes and shipping through Sideshow for me.
