In '09 I'm going to offer something I've never offered before; tailoring services. I'll be taking on anything there's a need for, be it basic superhero costumes, capes or complete outfits. I'll be doing sculptural costume elements as well: boots, weapons jewelry you name it.

I haven't worked out all of the details yet, but I'll probably work it out similar to how head sculpt commissions are done: find a project, get a pre-determined number of people on a list and set the prices according to how many people are in on the project.

With the huge amount of stuff I've created over the years (pants, shirts, jackets, trench coats, etc.) I've got the patterns for most things, just a bit of modification would be needed in most cases. I even have a Deckard coat pattern from a Freaks project that got scrapped in favor of the Newt project last Summer .
I design and fabricate all of my patterns from scratch, too. A lot of stuff you see on eBay and such is just taken from Barbie patterns or reverse engineered from existing clothes. For those of you not familiar with my work, check out my gallery: https://www.sovereignmodeldesign.com/GALLERY.html

With all the hatless Indy heads floating around, I think a Deckard coat would be the #1 thing on my list. I actually want to do a couple of Deckard figures, so bring 'em on!

This is fantastic news! I've always loved your tailoring, so this is a natural match! A Deckard coat is perfect too!.... I'm working on modifying the extra Indy head into one right now, so I am sure you will get a ton of business for that.

This is wonderful news Shaun. I'm pretty sure you're gonna get a ton of business from this.

Dude you should start with The Shining outfit, a bunch of us have signed on with Chris to commission us a Jack Torrence sculpt and Kuato to paint. We, im sure most of us, will need the entire outfit made from scratch.

I know from what i've seen i'd like you to be the tailor!

... You'll be my hero if you can help me with a black and grey comic book batman suit, As well as a belt like the one on your site :)

Awesome news! Now I can't decide which dream figure I want to do first with you doing the tailoring :) Voorhees that is a great Idea!

Shawn, in 2009 I'd be interested in an accurate Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. professor suit for my "hatless" Indy head from Sideshow. I've thought hard about using the existing Buffy Giles suit now. I may still do that sometime soon, but I'd rather have an accurate suit just like "Dr. Jones" wore in Raiders. The shirt, bowtie, pants, jacket, and even the eyeglasses (if you can make those).

I got the "Android Hunter" Deckard too. I know a better Deckard trenchcoat from you would be MUCH better! I'd be interested in one down the road too.

As I posted in the other thread, would really love to see an accurate Aayla Secura outfit, perhaps made out of something fairly stretchy so it can fit different bodies without issues :)
