Yeah, the Spawn movie pretty much sucked(Except for the dog and Wanda). I laughed my ass off when Spawn first got his necro suit, MJW looked like he was having a seizure!

The series was sweet! I missed Season 2, but the others were pretty damn good! I wonder why they took it off....

ans yes...the cape is divided into sections..each with wires inside..the wires are pretty strong too..so will hold the pose rather well though the cape is quite heavy

there was an animated series on HBO/cable too. i really liked it. movie sucked tho.
oh and what happened to the Spawn/McFarlane popularity??? i was just checking eBay and Spawn #1 in NM is going for like a buck?! don't think there's ever been an ongoing comic for this long where the 1st issue was worth crap. seem all those toys that i drove all over town to find the "rare" ones are worth crap too now. admittedly i was only into Spawn and the toys for about a year, and i can see the toys value plummeting if the market was over saturated but the comic amazes me since it's still an ongoing series, and apparently still popular enough to warrant merchandise.

I think that the difference is that there was an absolutely huge amount of hype surrounding Spawn 1 due to McFarlane's high profile and his very public spat with Marvel, so it sold buckets and buckets of copies.

Most first issues go up in price because people don't catch on that they're awesome until at least a few issues into their run. There was no way that any comic could live up to Spawn's hype.

I'm really stoked for this figure.

BigBadToyStore and KillerToys both had him at one point. I did my pre-order from BBTS for around $130, was too lazy to change it to a better deal. I wonder if Spawn.com will have a significantly better deal.

I thought Corenerstore was sold out on the pre-order?

Now, I want a Hot Toys Violator. And a Redeemer. And an Overtkill....
