...They are stuck with a ton of unsold figures from the first two releases in the PF line. And I would bet that these took more time and effort and development than the other lines, which have sold out. So if they do the math, they probably don't think that these are popular enough to keep the line alive and they are investing their limited time and resources elsewhere...

Although I agree, there are Star Wars PF items in stock yet the frequency they are produced is more than LotR. The thing that still surprises me is that Frodo at 1000 pieces is not sold out. Lurtz not so much because the exclusive is gone and the total edition size is 2000.

I don't know if I should do the dios or the PF line. At least SS said they would be rolling the dios out. I really don't know. I just wish SS could roll out all there LOTR lines.

This is what Sideshow needs to do IMO.

Drop all lines but the PF and 1:6 (I would even say drop the PF line ).

Eliminate the exclusives and make them available in the regular editions.

Lower the ES.

the dio's are cool.. but way too expensive for what they are.. they are just trying to cash in on from the love of the the marvel dio line.

Though they did say in the podcast that the dios are the easiest to produce and with the success SS have had with the Marvel dios I don't think they will cancel that line.

I think the LS line is in danger...

Dusty has posted in the other 12" thread that we should hopefully see some really exciting 12" stuff at SDCC, and I've also heard that the PF line has some amazing pieces coming soon... Keep the faith!!
