Special Spidey item next week!

this one sold out so fast that i wasn't able to get one for my buddy Gruson! i have an extremely fast internet connection too so that's gotta tell ya how fast it was orderd!

thats odd. youre usually so fast it amazes me.
Im on a wireless connection and looked at it and thought about it and refreshed it twice, then pullled the trigger only cause Ive really wanted a Gobbie for awhile. And Ive thought about getting the Spidey to go with him. I really dont think this Spidey is as bad as most say. He's far from the coolest thign ever, but he's not bad.

friends can trust me to log into their account to help them get it if they can't be in front of a computer. in fact i'm going to pre-order a 12" star wars figure tomorrow for another forum member. i have access to a fast network which helps.

btw, as most ppl who know me know that i am a serious collector. 99.9% of the stuff i buy is kept and not flipped. the 4 Grey PF hulks i pre-ordered simultaneously last time are for forum members minus 1 for myself.

I think it would look better if it were a very very dark blue. As it is I prefer my blue one. Even though I'm inclined to agree it might be a bit too bright and could stand to lose some shininess.

no worries Mookeylama. i can totally understand your frustration. i still remember missing out on the Grey Hulk vs Spidey exclusive. that was an awful night for me! luckily i was able to get one from a great forum member here who hooked me up with someone he knew had one. i paid a little extra but at least i got one. i also got an offer from another member at statueforum who was going to sell it to me at cost! there are some really cool guys out there willing to help. i know i paid extra for mine but i didn't mind because it was way less than what it was going for on ebay.

Yeah, that's why I ordered this one. Can't stand that seam in the blue (gives me pains just to think about a seam like that there), we'll see if it is really less evident in the black. Hope so...

Spidey wore these red/black threads during the period when Erik Larsen was the artist on Amazing Spider-Man after he took after McFarlane. Most of the art made him look like he was wearing black/red.

It wasn't on an official basis but the look was, for the most part, red/black due to the coloring and type of paper used.
