That is so weak!!! What a letdown!

Mind you, it's weak and a letdown in terms of being kept under wraps and treated as some significant product unveiling.

The customizers should take great pride in their work and that it's being showcased in such a manner.

Yeah, it is cool, but I think it's just anti-climactic considering the actual products they've unveiled.

nah ,I think I understand...I think Sideshow is trying to sell more Troopers with that idea...There is actually a whole market for that kind of collectible in Asia...Where people buy a general figure and customize them with amazing results.. on the bay those goes for records amount....Designer and vinyl toys comes to mind....

Very very smart move by Sideshow IMO...

Watch the great customizer putting some originality in those Stormtroopers in the coming months and watch the insane amount of $$$that will fetch the best ones on ebay...

They gotta unload the rest of them somehow. I think Batman looks cool, but, of course, the zombie Stormtrooper's my fav!

I think these are cool. If I had more faith in my ability I'd go buy a Stormtrooper and give him a tuxedo paint job and then put a Bond head on him.

While the Batman, and Robocop ones are cool, my favorite actually has to be the "con-goer" stormtrooper.

The Jesse James helmet is part of the "501st Legion's TK Helmet Project"- where various artists/celebrities/501st members create unique Stormtrooper helmets to be auctioned off for Make-A-Wish Foundation (possibly at Celebration V). The Robot Chicken crew is going to design one.
