The lyrics sound like absolute nonsense to me but I like the melody.
The man can sing. Of that there is no doubt. But he isn't to my tastes at all. His songs are kind of feminine, and I don't mean that in a bad way. They're just not to my tastes. But I'm keeping positive about it. The song is the song, if it's great like skyfall then it's a Bonus, but it's the film that matters.
A View to a Kill is one of my favourite Bond themes, along with a-ha's...gotta love 80's music.

This could be one of the best James Bond themes ever...and it's not even from a movie, it's from an Asian airline comercial
I think about that every time I hear that commercial. It's totally lifted from a great song, I can't remember the name of.
EDIT: Found it -- "Man Like That" by Gin Wigmore. Not sure why this song reminds me of that song now that I listen to it again.
