1/6 Speculation: HBO Watchmen Figures

So, HT are now getting into DC TV. It only took 8 years for them to get to them, of course. But with that door opened... anyone think the HBO Watchmen characters might be up for that sort of treatment? As of the first episode, I think only Sister Night is really ripe for the HT treatment. But she'd be amazing. Though a Don Johnson Hot Toy would be pretty cool.

I kind of doubt it unless this series really takes off. The comedian and silk spectre figures hung around at retail for years.

That was HT's own fault for starting off with Silk Spectre and the Comedian. If they had began the line with Rorschach and Nite Owl, that would not have happened.

I'd actually forgotten they tried some figures from the movie. Although, to be fair, beyond character selection the Silk Spectre was pretty awful. They'd probably knock it out of the park now, but it was pretty rough. Of course, the new show is probably not giving us any of the reconizable characters in their old forms, at least. lol. So it might be a tougher sell.

Straight off the bat... there's no chance of this happening unfortunately.

However after seeing Regina King all kitted up I instantly thought she looked amazing and I want a figure of her.

The first episode was fantastic btw. And that shocker at the end...

That pilot episode was ****ing awesome, but I feel like they put a license embargo on this tbh. Lindelof seems to respect Alan Moore very much, so he might have asked HBO to not produce any merchandise for this. It also deals with issues like white supremacy, so they might think it'll be controversial to produce 1/6 scale figures

I would be so down to see HT and Mezco produce figures for Sister Night, Ozymandias, and Dr. Manhattan (depending how he looks on Sunday).

I love this show but can't think of a single figure I'd desperately want right now.

Is Dr Manhattan ever going to be part of it? I mean on screen and not just mentioned in passing.

I could definitely go for Looking Glass. Not sure if anyone else jumped out to me that much. Not interested too much in Old Man Veidt, though I loved Irons in that role. Sister Knight looks pretty nifty, but I'm not sure if I would buy a figure. Unfortunately, we only saw
