I'm pretty much all in for any RO figures they want to make. I'd even get a young Jyn and Saw. Of course given the fact that we might see *maybe* one or two more figures tops it'll be very easy to be a RO completist.
Sure. Very easy. Just like filling my Ferrari's gas tank every week.

Sadly Suicide Squad seems more likely.

Is it? We only got three characters total from that film--and only two of which members of the actual Suicide Squad! I'd throw up my hands in praise if HT ever announced Killer Croc, El Diablo, Enchantress, Amanda Waller or Boomerang from that movie!

It's looking more and more like Baz is the end of the line for Rogue One line from HT.
Want to be wrong here, but we haven't seen any more hints, announcements, fair/show photos or anything else indicating any more characters other than what we've actually seen.

That's too bad... a Cassian and a Krennic figure seems pretty essential, but not to the folks at HT. The one thing that stands out to me here is how Rogue One would have an appeal more to the adult collector as opposed to the more kid - friendly one, so why not offer more here now, while the movie is the focus of this period?

Very soon the focus will shift to episode 8 and once that happens, I don't see HT or anyone else stepping back to Rogue One for any figures to produce.

Oh well. ..I'll enjoy what we're getting here...

Don't know that they've ever revealed a new SW figure in those catalogs. Usually a good sign that they're still planning on releasing the shown figures like the DS gunner and trooper though.

I think we all know why Chirrut and Baze were the first and last of the humanoids in the Hot Toys Rogue One line as opposed to say, Cassian and Krennic or even a no brainer like Tarkin.

Yeah, those dudes are huge movie stars over there and Lucasfilm was trying to make Rogue One more appealing to the Asian market, so I'm sure they were likely pushed pretty heavily. Tarkin was never gonna happen right off the bat. They were keeping his amount of screen time pretty under wraps.

I'm sure HT was also playing things a little conservative after all their TFA pegwarmers and maybe even with all the reshoot RO rumors. With the success of RO, especially in the US, maybe that'll push them to round out the group with the next 2-3 obvious choices.

Even Hasbro hasn't gotten around to Tarkin in most (all?) of their current lines which tells me they tried to downplay his role or told companies not to produce him yet or whatever.

Maybe his "estate" is more sparing with his likeness and doesn't want a lot of toys out there.

OR... kids in general just don't like to play with an olive drab Nazi commander with no hat, cape or gun. :dunno

(that's why the gave Krennic a hat, cape and gun in the movie :lol)

Nah, it was just the secrecy with Tarkin. I mean Pablo Hidalgo's Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide doesn't even have Tarkin in it !

HT must read these forums. I think it's pretty clear that Tarkin is desperately needed. i.e easy sales. I think he'll come. HT would've only got visual footage to start sculpting once the film was released. Hence put him in the second phase. He'd fit perfectly with these Death Star Troopers which come out first due to no facial sculpt (like the Stormtroopers, they are always released first).
