I'm actually thinking of getting a bronze bell or a concrete wall to put this piece on. Will just have to drill in the peg right? Make it much more different to the classic Spidey and have it at a different height or angle.

A bronze bell would look sweet. Place some awesome weathering and you'd have a winner. Would love to see someone execute that.

Yeah. Should be easier to find one and drill a peg hole. And it works as mixed media. I think. Wonder if anyone does that.

I think you'll play heck trying to find one to match the contour of the 'pivot' hand though - unless you add something as a 'buffer' between the two.

So it just dawned on me that this is the actual symbiote he's wearing. He looks like he's getting ready to shoot his web from the top of his fist. Which is where the symbiote would generate the webbing (which was just and extension of the suit) from. At least it has got some mods from the red and blue.

Indeed. Really digging it. Both of them. I do have both comiquettes, which I love. But I'm struggling with myself. I have to resist, but I'm weak.

The comiquettes are nice. Can definitely appreciate being on the fence if owning those - but what I'm finding is that in MOST cases (not all) with SSCs revisited characters, they're bigger and better. Spidey will definitely be one of those.

I don't know if anything can beat the comiquette for the the red and blue. But I am digging the black and white PF more that the black and white comiquette. So we'll see.

I do really like that piece. But I just think it's so overrated. It's still great, but this new PF just kills it, IMO.

It's just more realistic looking, IMO.

Original red and blue COM is still my favorite. I sold my BiB Spidey but I have to say, it is a cool looking piece. Both of these new Spidey PFs look good. You can't go wrong with any of the pieces if you ask me. Especially if you are a HUGE Spidey fan. I've always liked Spidey but he was never a favorite character of mine. So, I have no problem sticking with the original COM. I'll be passing on these new PFs. However, I am looking forward to a possible new Green Goblin PF. Didn't care for the 1st one so I'm hoping a second PF will be spot on for me. That's as far as I'll go with Spidey. I've always been a big X-MEN and Avengers fan so most of my Marvel collection is skewed that way.
