Spider Man, Black Suit Spidey and Venom up for Pre-Order!!!

The only one I'm not really wavering on is the Black Suited, I really think with the Medi Peter matching it, its the only real must have version. Venom I think will be easily obtainable but the Red Suited is a questionable one....if enough people are trying to redeem the mistake of missing out or not being able to afford the Spider-Man 2 figure, it might go faster but time will tell. As for Venom, everything I've seen show him with the grey emblem making the VCD inaccurate. According to some friends whom have dealt with Marvel approval the Spidey license is a tough one because it has to be approved through Marvel, Sony and Columbia before seeing the light of day also once they approve something then its difficult to get a change it because its been approved, despite accuracy. That is why all the different variants....

I'm glad to have mine coming finally.... Even with the inaccuracy. And thankfully my Boba is already paid for so no worries about the cost at that time. Now I can just relax and wait for Jango.

I doubt the 3 of these will be tough to get later down the road. Even red, seems like a lot were made. Also, with so much coming out in May, I think a lot of people are cancelling, but we'll see. The only MUST for me is Peter, but I'd like the rest one day..................one day.

I'm not happy about canceling two of the three I have on order. I might be able to pick up one of them when they ship hopefully.

I thought they were fixing the color on them, Venom still has the dark colored spider emblem. Personally, I like the black webbing on the regular Spider-Man, so that's one I hope they don't change.

If you zoom in on the 360 view on regular Spider you can see that while his spider is still black, his webbing is now graphite or dark gray. As for Venom, I bet the emblem will be the same as on the black costume which we can see on the one sheet is the dark colored gray.

I'm on the fence about these guys now. I'm thinking Spider Man 4 will give us a better Spider Man and Peter Parker (at least with the regular costume on underneath and without the emo hair). Plus, having lived through the original black Spider Man thing, I have mixed feelings about the costume.

I love the costume and remember Sony/Marvel said they are continuing the Spider-Man license with or without Maguire so if we do get a Spider-Man from Spider-Man 4 along with a Peter Parker.....he may not look like good ol' Tobey....

As far as Im concerned, Toby makes for a great Parker. Regardless if they cast another person as Parker down the road, who knows how that might pan out. At least owning a figure tailored after Toby is a worthy addition to a Spiderman collection.

Hahahahaha....honestly, if it were up to me MediCom or Hot Toys would release a "Legends of Batman" line that contained an Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale Batman/Bruce Wayne line.....

I will be getting Maguire Parker and if they release another for SM4, I'll get those too.

You post that like it's a bad thing. Tobey and Kirsten have always been the weak link in the series for me. I know a lot of fans think Tobey makes the films but being a fan of the comics from way back, I've always thought he missed what Peter Parker was all about. Especially now that he no longer looks like a kid, he just looks short.

Well, it does look exactly the same as the pre-order pictures... I'm praying for the whole "in-hand prophecy" to ring true on this one... Like Anakin and Aragron/Strider before it... Both looked and do look horrible when photographed. But awesome in the flesh! Save Spidey Red & Blue Geebus!!!

I've got them on preorder but that suit just doesn't look right. I don't know if it's the stitching or the glossy sheen or the fact that it looks like cheap vinyl.

But like grange said, I hope the in hand experience magically changes this one for me.

So I'll be getting a Venom, Black Suited Spidey from SM3 and a Red Suited Spidey from SM1....too bad about the final product but I guess it holds the Silver webbed, small headed SM2 Spidey in a little more prestige....I wonder how hard it'd be to get an SM2 Spidey, pop its head off put this one on and paint just the mask lines silver.....hmmmmm...
