Spider-Man vs. Venom vs. Sandman Diorama: A Blast from SSC's Past

[Chapter 2099]

My first-ever Sideshow Collectible's piece was the Spider-Man vs. Venom vs. Sandman Diorama based on the final battle scene depicted in Spider-Man 3. This was what seems like many, many moons ago, but after a few years of being apart, this piece and I have finally reunited!

I opened this monsterous piece, and I'm still "wowed" all of these years later. The paint application is phenomenal...and that's an understatement. The sculpting work and detail is top-notch. This is the quality that lured me to collecting Sideshow's work.

Out of all of the pieces I own, this is still one of the best in terms of quality and detail, in my opinion. I took some pics tonight and posted them below. If you own this piece, discuss and share some pics of your own.

I remember seeing this at a LCS when I picked up the black SM mini bust. The Spider-Man in this dio actually had more detail than the stand-alone statue.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting the stand-alone Spider-Man(s) and Venom, but then got this again and my "appetite" is satisfied.

Venom is nice to say the least. The whole SM3 polystone line I thought was underrated.

I thought it was a lot smaller than I remember it being, when I got one years back. Nonetheless, it's still big as you said. It fits nicely in the IKEA Bestas though.

Spidey's costume makes much more sense in that dio. I defy anyone to make a spidey costume with recessed webbing. The webbing absolutely should be raised. rant rant rant.
