Spooktacular 2007: The best one yet and Thank You Sideshow !!!!

Yeah ,I know this is in the SW section.



Thank you Sideshow collectibles !!!! Personnaly,for me this was the Best Spooktacular edition of all time !!! Product wise it was certainely an unbeatable event.Lets see:

As a Big Marvel fan,The unveiling of your new Masterpiece in the Marvel PF line, The Thing, was spectacular !!!!

All those new products and licences that before Spooktacular, nobody would have guess:Shaun of the Dead, the Thing, Elvira, AVP,New Jason Statue,Darkman and not one, but 2 new Dead figures....WOW JUST WOW...

But for me, The single greatest Thing about Spooktacular 2007 was the unveiling of that Star Wars Praji commander dude 12'' !!!!
Not only did all the SW Whiners were totally shocked that it wasnt Vader and therefore didnt want to order one because of their frustration because it wasnt that Robotic loser, but by making an Edition size of 3000 you just put them right in their naysaying places.OHHHHH the Orgasmic vision I had when I saw those same idiots who were bashing the choice of the figure,were now frustrated they didnt have one cause it was sold out....

Thank you Sideshow for the memories,for the Great Spook 2007 and that great middle finger you pulled to those SW geeks.

Yes! Sideshow you guys are the best and thank you for another awsome spooktacular! My favorite part would probably be the Spook Kit. I love my shirt and use my mug proudly every day. Spooktacular was kick but this year and I am really looking to next year's and all the fun and free stuff that one will bring. SIDESHOW RULES! COLLECT FOR LIFE!

I will agree, this was an amazing event and i'm proud (and poor ) to have been part of it. Keeping it SW related, I was floored when they included the Clone Trooper VCD as a freebie. I'm a nut for the SW/Medicom stuff...

Have to agree with every single word Shai just said! LOVED this Spooktacular, every last thing. Elvira wasn't my cup of tea, but everything else was a show stopper.

And it was funny watching the SW section blow up...

I agree Elvira won't be in my collection either, but that new Dead figure looks sweet. Too bad I just sold off my other Dead figures (it's ok I didn't have Zero so I'm not kicking myself too much.) But overall I must say I enjoyed last years more, I think being a shorter time frame for all the festivities to occur made it seem like there was more happening when probably the same amount of stuff happened this year. Also weren’t the clearance stuff 50% off last year as opposed to 30% (I prefer the 50% )

Spook was awesome this year and I'm kind of glad that I got really busy mid-week and missed the nonsense going on in here.

I was just pissed that I missed the order (and the clue the day before...D'OH!) and had to jump on the wait list.

But in general (lack of Roy aside...) it was an FANTASTIC 9 days...

Awesome post Shai! Agree completely. It was a great event and it brought me the greatest news I could have hoped for, collectible wise, Darkman!!! And the whining from the "other side" was just a cherry on the top. Love to see all the complaining about a figure that sold out so quickly. It went right from crying about what the figure was and straight to complaining about "I didn't get one", classic. Sideshow ROCKS!!
