Spooktacular freebie items canceled??

i've recieved emails stating that 2 of the 3 freebie items i got thru the banners have been canceled. Mouth of Sauron helm and 12" Buffy. anyone else recieve emails like this? should i call SS?

Did you call or e-mail to combine shipping? If so... they combine them all into one order and cancel the others. Gotta think that's what's going on here. But if in doubt... check with Sideshow directly. Couldn't hurt.

I know you couldn't win multiples of the same kinds of contests... but I think the banner deals weren't part of that? I'd call the CS and see what the deal is. At the very least you might be able to choose which item you keep.

I sent an e-mail a few days ago requesting that my items be shipped together and received an e-mail stating that they would try to ship them together. Well, today I received three items...all shipped separately. Oh well. I have three more items on their way but I guess I'll just have to pay the shipping separately as well.

That's exactly it. I was checking my account and noticed the Mouth of Sauron helm showing up as cancelled. When I called, they told me that they were combining the orders to save on shipping and thus had to cancel the original one.

Once again, Sideshow proves they are the bestest!!!*

If you send an email/call they will *try* to get them all combined. But since all of these Spooktacular items were in-stock when purchased, most of them started processing/shipping almost immediately. Once an order gets into the processing stage, it's unfortunately too late to go back and combine orders

I just picked up Murder Legendre and Frank from Bride of Frank from Amoktime today. I know these figs have been around for a while, but I gave a start when I saw the amazing paint apps on Murder. This is early Sideshow, and the apps were some of the best I have ever seen! I bougt it to paint it, but now I'm re-thinking....

So, three awesome monsters coming my way, including Security Zomibe!!

Sideshow should add a feature to the account info page to request combination of every outstanding in-stock order within a limited time window. It'll save Erin a lot of trouble and us a lot of cash.

Thanks, Dusty, for your response. I didn't realize that the processing took place so soon. I expected it to take 4-6 weeks. Hey! I'm just grateful to receive "free" Spooktacular items -- combined shipping or not.

Probably depends on how many items/orders you're actually combining and what they actually are. I saved a bunch by combining mine I know. I saw a temporary charge of $18 on my CC... rather than probably $40-$50 or so if they were all shipped separately.

As nice as it is to save $$$ on shipping, it's also better for the environment with less cardboard and packing materials probably And also I like not having to have my wife, neighbors etc accepting all these little boxes for me day after day. Just one big box! My UPS/Fedex guy also probably loves not having as many deliveries.

Everyone wins. Hooray!

i got the same emails but i know what's happening because i was sent an email telling me to expect seeing orders cancelled because they are grouping all under one so that they can combine shipping. so nothing to be alarmed about.

you would save more than just a few bucks if your items are big in volumetric size of maybe 3 or more packages.

Yes, all three small boxes came with a giftcard...$10 each. And I too will apply it towards another helm.

I have been getting them with everything lately, was there a stamp on the box saying look for the card? I have had cards slide under the bottom flap and didnt find until breaking the shipping box down.

Yep. I've been getting gift cards as well. Mine came with the Subject 5 I ordered.

Should get my free Morgul mask and Hunchback this week, too. Got confirmation they both shipped out.
