That's the thing though is that I've never really thought outside the box with my Clone customs. Its pretty much just replicating what's seen on screen. Its not that I lack the imagination to make my own ideas because I do that with my Avatar custom figures, its just that I never have had the urge to I guess.

Got Thorn's helmet finished last night with the exception of the antenna.



Also painted the grey stripes that he's got going down each arm.





Hopefully going to get the rank badge finished this weekend along with another project I have to finish. My next task will be painting two Veteran helmets to go on my two Shock Troopers so they'll have the up to date buckets.

Thanks guys! haha Well I'm kind of on this mission to replace all the old phase II helmets I have with new versions. I've already replaced my two original 501st helmets with ones from the deluxe 501st trooper, having a little trouble finding two 212th deluxe helmets though. But as far as actually getting rid of the originals, I want to hang onto them just for originality sake. I still want to have all the original complete parts but just not necessarily display them with the original parts.

Commander Thorn is finished!
Managed to use a plastic toothpick for the antenna after a little whittling. And fixed up a rank badge. And as these pics show, I got started on my shock trooper helmets.
