My replacement showed up so I thought I would take a family portrait before shipping one off. These are two completely different statues; the detail, base and especially the paint. My original actually has less damage (only a chipped tooth) than the replacement but the overall paint and detail of the replacement is a noticeable improvement. The replacement has some minor scratching from the bones on his chest, and the back of his leg has some gooey residue that won't come off but none of these are noticeable when viewed without a magnifying glass. I really can't decide which one to keep. The original is on the left (base with ferns) and the replacement is on the right.

Left side is the original, the right is the replacement. More spots and texture, especially in the arms and abdomen area.

I would keep the one with the least amount of damage because I can't tell the difference between the 2 and the tad bit more of dots here and there still wouldn't take precedent over having less damage.

Umm, keep both...screw it. You only live once.

Again another impressive pcs. hard to tell from these two pcs except yourselves. so if I were you, I will keep these two pcs. hahaaa

j/k but i'm sure that there is a place like that somewhere within an hour or two's drive of most albertans back yard.

i for one often forget that we live so close to such beautiful habitat but don't get out to see it enough.

Keep the replacement. That tooth would drive me batsh1t. The paint far surpasses your original as well. You'll never look at that back leg, and I can't see many scratches on the chest.
