SS Carnage PF (1/4 scale statue)

Did he fit on the base fine? I had to twist mine all the way around to get the back foot to sit and I think that tight of a fit is what's keep in front foot from goin all the way down

Mine fit fine. The front foot is kind of lifted up but you cant really tell

My order was pushed back again all the way to the 25th of November... I changed the payment date to the 5th of November. Does anyone know if that means it will now ship on the 5th?

You need to choose the one payment option, then it will pay as soon as it's in stock. If you pick a date that's when it charges even if they have them.

I personally do not like how SS picks and chooses who gets theirs first. Either ship in the order they were ordered or ship when all the pieces ordered are in. It's not a thing like I can't wait it's just BS people that POed day one are sitting waiting while others that may have ordered last month have it already.

They told me they got in a small shipment of the ex, well I'm on vacation next week so for me it's sucks it didn't come yet but will while I'm gone.

Two more popped up on facebook today. This guy looks fantastic with other spidey pieces (see pics towards the bottom of the post). But the amount of quality issues so far is really concerning.

"Ex #49 here and meh. Opens the box to moisture and had a rusty foot peg so not off to a good start. I'm not a fan of the redish gray wash paint job, I like the base, the Exclusive axe hand I'm not a fan of, foot peg doesn't sit in all the way, paint app in the mouth is just pink with no detail. This is probably the first statue I have gotten from Sideshow and said to myself really $500 for this??? 5 out of 10"

Didn’t get dropped off till late, so forgive the **** lighting
I have a few minor issues....
-The hands don’t peg in on this at all. So the magnet is the only thing keeping the hands on, and I don’t know if it’s a weak magnet or the extra weight of the ax hand, but if I blow on that thing too hard it’ll fall off
-the red is a little too washed out for my taste, but I understand a bright blood red might not look right on this sculpt, I dunno
-the seam on his neck overlaps kind of bad in one spot
Overall though, those issues aside I do like the piece quite a lot, and am happy with it
I’d give it like a 7 or 8/10"

"I have #83 if I remember correctly. It came in yesterday. I was excited to finally have him in hand. Some flaws, but overall I think he's a great piece and captures Carnage."

When asked what the flaws were, he said the peg is rusty, foot doesn't sit flush, and the arms are loose. So same problems as the others.

looks like bad QC and poor manufacturing are going to be a common problem , shame. Good thing the Ex looks like the bat signal attached to his arm. Regular will be easy to find at a discount.

When I POed this I honestly didn't like the EX Ax but it was a PO so it's just included but what is the axe like his go to weapon?

I'm a fan of The statue more than I follow Marvel so that's why I ask.

I'm so looking forward to a rusty peg lmao I mean how does a rusty peg get on all these statues. Like my Jango fitment issue in which they replaced the whole statue I'll be requesting a replacement if needed.

Yeah. The axe is something Carnage used often. Many of his most famous moments are shown with him and an axe.

For all of you with the rusted pegs, did you have those moisture absorbing packets in the box? I had 2 in the box itself and 2 wrapped up with the body - something I've never seen before from SS. Chances are they know the peg rusts and threw a few more of those moisture absorbing packets in with the body to avoid it. If the peg isn't rusty (mine wasnt), it will most likely rust when you put it into the base.

If the peg is not rusted when you get this piece, then there's really nothing to worry about. All you need to do is wipe some WD40 onto the peg. It will help to keep moisture away from the peg preventing rust. Plus it will help the peg to go into the hole better. Easy!

Whyyyyyy can't SS just find a better place to do their work. I mean I get my Jango and while I had fitment issues they fixed that but the statue itself was supremely fantastic as well as my Voltron. As far as QC thankfully the majority of my stuff was fine.

With that said it's not everyone that gets lucky lol I mean do no other companies have problems or just not as often?

Does anyone really know for example if say Prime 1 has their own people doing all their work while SS has who doing it?

It's like they have to get multiple companies to cover all the work so you get some good pieces then a junker.
