SS Exclusives..Great idea or markting tool???

Now, how long should I wait for an answer, before I ignore the request not to slow the process down by using the form and asking the same question again? It's been two weeks now and I think the Dark Side Promotion is over. I couldn't find anything on the site, probably because it is a newsletter promotion, and don't know if the newsletter link just remains active or not. As I said, not worried anymore, so no answer required.

Hm, I do know there has been some email interruptions in the past few weeks - I would say, if you don't hear back in 5-6 working days, PM me and I will pass it along - just know that if you don't hear back, it's never intentional

Is it a great idea from SS that adds to the collecting community or simply a sly marketing tool to get cunsumers to buy direct from SS......or a combination of both

I agree that it's a little of both.

I almost always buy the exclusives just because 99.999% of the time I buy direct from SS anyways so I figure I might as well pick up the exclusive.

Lately though, IMO, the exclusive item have becom "must have items" so the exclusives are in demand even more. Example: the LOTR exclusives have been must haves. Legolas' and Strider's cloaks IMO should of been made available in the regular editions. I feel that they are a major part of their outfits from FOTR.

On the other hand, the Horror exclusives IMO are not "must have items." Jason's several different exclusives wether it be the tree trimmer, severed arm...Freddy's tounge phone, extra hand, camp shirt...all were very cool but were not needed to enjoy the figure.
