Sideshow are very cagey about what happened last time they had the Jurassic Park licence. They should of just come clean and said it was because of this and that. Instead they just ignored every question as to why they stopped.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Jurassic park replicas from Legacy effects.
Just not sure if I would want Sideshow to do it.

Sideshow should have just ditched the G.I. Joe license while they were at it since they wanted to make up their own "interpretations" of a modern military line instead of honoring the original Hasbro characters.

Pop culture maybe for some statues. Action figs could also work, Hot toys could or enterbay, heck I would even take NECA stuff at this point. Their 1/4 scale figures are pretty good, so they could do it.

Hasbro owns the JP franchise lincense, just like SSC has to have permission for Star Wars from Hasbro; same goes for JP. SSC did in fact have it, but something within SSC and Hasbro took place. Not sure what. Honestly Hasbro throws JP fans a bone once in awhile at TRU with new 5 point dinos and repaint G.I. Joes. But JP is dead till World. Course speculation lead people to believe in figures for 3D JP, but nope. Hasbro looks at demographics then fans. Reason why SSC has Star Wars still.

All we need is one decent sized T-Rex statue or bust really. A NECA T-Rex would do the trick. Sadly, a lot of the custom stuff on ebay is way over-priced.

i just wish someone would pick it up i know there are a ton of jp fans i think the ssc dio sold pretty well glad i got one before they sold out its up in the 1000 .

thanks guys im trying my best on these but still wip my sculpting skills are getting better and i learn new things every day i would love to work for one of these companies one of these days that would be so cool, .

neca would be cool the sculpts are nice paint not so good but thats not a big deal for me i love to paint and repaint stuff

If Sideshow would get the Jurassic Park licence there would be no limit to how much money I would spend with them. JP is my favorite movie of all-time and unfortunately I didn't know about Sideshow until the JP dio was long gone. Now I can only hope they reacquire the licence eventually.

I really don't know why SS didn't grab that 1/5 Trex bust mold from the original 1/5 prop that is floating around. Have seen very few finished though. I almost went for the one that finished on ebay recently.
