If you would have asked me if I would ever cancel this order when she went up for sale, I would have said, "never in a million years..."



I remember how excited I was that day seeing the sweet prototype reveal too...

While on the boards, I did notice that a majority of the people are commenting and judging the piece on the same 3 or 5 photos.

Are they kidding? 3-5 photos? Here's just a SMALL sample from the reg head gallery. There are more.

I hate to say it, but I think Sideshow had this coming, particularly after the issues with the Mark VI Maquette and Spider-Man Comiquette. This isn't a new issue, and there is a serious disjuncture between selling pricey, high end statues and having lackluster paint apps. If you're paying $20 for a Hasbro or NECA figure, no big whoop, but this is a $300 statue.

Yep, they deserve all the flack they are getting because they keep blowing off the QC concerns and say they have improved their QC but then turn crap like this out again.

My twin brother was telling me about this the other day and I had to take a look. These are awful! Where is the QC? If I had bought this and it showed up with those many flaws I would have cried,then called SSC in anger! I mean between my twin brother and I we spend a lot at SSC on their products. I can't believe what some of you spend and this is acceptable to them? I hope you all laid into them and said this is inexcusable!

Everyone is saying that the regular head is wrse but for me the ex head is def worse. The bad eyeshadow of the regular is easier for me to deal with than the extreme goggly eyes of he ex. Don't get me wrong, not defending either head so don't flame me for this comment!

JK, Great review! Looks like you have a lot of nice statues there.

Sad to see Rogue resort to becoming a cheap dollar hooker. Definitely interesting seeing her compared to the Thing PF as far as quality goes. I guess he's the better statue by far.

I'm not sure that I can preorder anything with SS at the moment. I don't really feel safe to.

I wonder if SS realizes that this will also hurt their future sales as well. I think a lot of people will think twice, at least for a little while, before hitting submit order, on the order page.
